Delegation from Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry Visits Toyama

On January 25, 2017, a delegation from Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry headed by Minister Monica Mæland visited Toyama and had a meeting with members of University of Toyama at YKK 50 building. After a greeting by Executive Vice President Yasumaru Hatanaka, Prof. Kenji Matsuda of Graduate School of Science and Engineering introduced the achievements of academic exchanges with Norway and explained INTPART Project that aims to promote collaborations on Education-Research-Business (Knowledge Triangle) among Universities, Research Institutes and Corporations in the field of aluminium alloys. Then, Dr. Lee and 2 graduate students of Graduate School of Science and Engineering did a presentation regarding their research performance during their stay in Norway. Minister Mæland commented, “This project is a good example of international exchange and I expect the further development of our relationship”.
