University of Toyama Signs Agreement for Academic Exchange with Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea
On March 14, 2017, the University of Toyama(UT) concluded an agreement for academic exchange with the Kyungpook National University(KNU), Republic of Korea. The signing ceremony was held at KNU with attendance of Prof. Yuukou Horita, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Kenji Matsuda, Chairman of the Faculty of Engineering International Exchange Committee and Assistant Prof. Lee of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering for research from UT.
Since the conclusion of the faculty-level agreement between the Faculty of Humanities, UT and the College of Humanities, KNU in 2010, the mutual exchange of researchers and students has continued between the two universities which resulted in the conclusion of the university-level agreement this time.
After the signing, there was a discussion about the future student and researcher exchanges and then they visited several facilities including labs at the College of Engineering, KNU. It is expected that the mutual exchange in education and research will be further promoted.
