Delegation from Foreign Affairs Office Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, China paid a courtesy visit to President Saito
On October 31, 2019, a delegation from Foreign Affairs Office Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, China, headed by Director General Ying Zhong Yuan paid a courtesy visit to President Saito.
This year marks 35th anniversary of the friendship agreement between Liaoning Province and Toyama Prefecture. As the memorial project of Toyama Prefecture, an international exchange delegation from Liaoning Province visited to University of Toyama (UT) on April 23, 2019, and our 19 university’s students joined in visiting to Liaoning Province on September 4-7, 2019.
At the courtesy visit, the participants had a lively discussion about the exchanges of research and students so far and in the future between universities in Liaoning Province and UT.
After the courtesy visit, the delegation moved to Faculty of Humanities and they exchanged opinions about Liaoning and study abroad with Executive Vice President Isobe and the students of Faculty of Humanities. Three Japanese students who visited to Liaoning Province as above and an international student from Liaoning Province who is a grantee of Toyama Prefectural government scholarship joined this discussion.
