I took part in a relay marathon with other people from my lab, and I was very impressed with the way that they trained for it during their spare time. I think that having something to focus passionate-ly on with my lab mates, outside of our research, was very valuable.あの頃私は富大生 Memories from my school daysExperiences at the University of Toyamaand Faculty of Engineering usefulafter graduationHokuriku Electric Power Company, Niikawa Hydro Power Center,Hydro Power Plant Facilities MaintenanceHASEGAWA TaiseiGraduated from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering(Master’s program) in 2025In the School of Engineering’ s Electrical and Electronic Engineering Course, I studied the fundamentals of things like electromagnetism and electronic circuits, and learned how to use experiments as a way to better consider matters. The master’ s program built on the basic knowledge I gained as an undergraduate, for study and research focused on more specialized fields where I could apply what I had learned. When I had difficulties with the experiments I did as an under-graduate and the research I did as a graduate student, my advisor offered apt advice, and I still think about that. Since graduating, I have worked in hydropower, a form of renewable energy, at the Hokuriku Electric Power Company, with a focus mainly on the management and maintenance of power stations. Whenever I need to investigate the causes behind problems at power stations, the logical thinking and problem-solving skills I developed as a student have proven invaluable. I hope to continue making the most of the knowledge and abilities I gained at the university, to help contribute to a stable power supply through power plant maintenance.北陸電力株式会社 新川水力センター発電保守課私は工学部電気電子工学コースで電磁気学・電子回路等の基礎、実験を通して考察力を学び、大学院修士課程では学部で培った基礎知識をもとに、より専門的な応用分野の学習・研究に取り組みました。学部での実験、修士課程の研究で悩んだ際に指導教員から的確なアドバイスを頂けたことが印象に残っています。卒業後は北陸電力株式会社で再生可能エネルギーの水力部門に所属し、主に発電所の管理や修繕等を行っています。発電所でトラブルが発生した際の原因を追究していくにあたり、学生生活で培った論理的思考力や課題解決力は非常に役立っています。大学で学んだ知識・能力をもとに電力設備の保守や安定供給に貢献していけるように向上心を持って仕事に取り組んでいきたいです。長谷川 太星さん2025年3月 大学院理工学研究科（博士前期課程）理工学専攻メカトロニクスプログラム修了卒業後に活かすことができた富山大学や工学部での経験 15所属していた研究室の仲間とリレーマラソンに参加しました。本番のために空いた時間を使って練習していたことがとても印象に残っています。研究に励みながら時には研究室の仲間と別のことに熱中するとても有意義な時間を過ごせたと思います。
