富山大学は将来の夢を見つけ、それに向かい己を鍛える修行の場でした。モノづくりについて学び、またその楽しさを他者に伝えられる人材になるという思いで、富山大学に進学しました。学部3年間で情報工学の知識を習得し、研究室配属からの3年間は実験装置の製作、実験、データ分析、論文提出と研究に明け暮れました。現在の会社はMDX-20という卓上切削機を通して知りました。また、スローガンの「創造の喜びを世界にひろめよう。」という一節から、まさに私と同じ思いだと感じ、就職先はこの会社しかないと一念発起しました。職場ではプリンターのファームウェアを開発しています。製品リリース直前にはインドの共同開発先に単身で出張し、製品品質の担保を任されることもあります。重責を担う分、自身の成長と充足感を得られる職場です。I entered University of Toyama, hoping to learn about manufacturing and eventually to be a person who can convey its joy to others. During the three years of my undergraduate days, I acquired knowledge on information engineering and that was followed by another three years of me being with the laboratory, during which I spent day after day producing laboratory equipment, experimenting, analyzing data and writing my theses. I got to know my current company through one of its products, MDX-20, a tabletop cutting machine. I also sympathized with its company slogan, “Let’s spread the joy of creation around the world” and decided on the spot to make every effort to enter this company. There, I am currently working on developing firmware for a printer. I was once trusted to undertake the task of guaranteeing the quality of a product just before its release, being dispatched alone to a joint-developing company in India. In order to make up for my poor English when communicating in those days, I used every tactic, namely, gestures, illustrations and so forth.
