Delegation from China-Japan Friendship Hospital Visits to President Saito

On June 26, 2019, a delegation from China-Japan Friendship Hospital paid a courtesy visit to President Saito.
China-Japan Friendship Hospital and University of Toyama(UT) concluded a university level-agreement in March 1986 and re-concluded in December 2012. In recent years, the academic exchanges have been carried out mainly with Institute of Natural Medicine　(INM) ,UT.

After giving a welcome address by President Saito, Jia Li Qun,　Director Professor of Oncoligy Department and Executive Director, China- Japan Medical Science and Technology Exchanges Association, China-Japan Friendship Hospital expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet the President and the hope for further exchanges in Research, Clinical and Education. The participants had a concrete discussion about research collaboration in the future.
On the next day, June 27, 2019,　they had a joint seminar of China-Japan Friendship Hospital and INM.

Further development of academic exchanges can be expected as the Hub of cooperation for Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine.
