Delegation from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia Visits University of Toyama

On July 8, 2019, Prof. Tibor Kvačkaj and Associate Prof. Jana Bidulská from Faculty of Material, Metallurgy and Recycling, Technical University of Kosice (TUK), Slovakia paid a courtesy visit to Executive Vice President Masayuki Ikeda.

TUK and University of Toyama(UT) concluded a university level-agreement in November 2015 and the academic exchanges have been carried out mainly with Department of Materials Design and Engineering , Faculty of Sustainable Design Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Research, UT.
This visit was realized by the support from Erasmus+ which TUK applied and adopted with UT as a partner institution and they will stay at UT from July 3rd to July 12th.

After giving a welcome address by Executive Vice President Masayuki Ikeda, Prof. Kvačkaj introduced TUK. The participants had a lively discussion about the student exchanges and research collaborations in the future.
