On March 2, 2020, Prof. Thierry Vandamme, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Strasbourg, France paid a courtesy visit to President Saito.
University of Strasbourg and University of Toyama (UT) have concluded a university-level agreement in March 2019. This visit aimed to give a lecture at the symposium held at School of Pharmacy toward an educational collaboration program between the two universities.
At the courtesy visit, President Saito introduced UT and Toyama prefecture and participants exchanged opinions about our academic collaboration in the future.
After that, he visited the Lafcadio Haern Library at University Library and the laboratories at School of Science. The next day, he visited School of Pharmacy, and gave a lecture at the symposium and discussed an educational collaboration program with faculty members of School of Pharmacy.
