We will hold a session on “Sustainable Urban Water for Human Health and Well-being” during World Water Week 2023.

University of Toyama has partnered with prominent institutions such as the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the University of Tokyo, and various United Nations University institutes to partake in a “Sustainable Urban Water for Human Health and Well-being” session during World Water Week 2023.

Professor Geetha Mohan, representing the Global Research Centre for Advanced Sustainability Science, will be actively involved in this collaborative session. Their contribution aims to enhance our comprehension of the significance of health-related multi-sectoral water management in fortifying societies’ economic and environmental resilience. Drawing upon scientific research and practical project experiences, the session will foster constructive dialogue among stakeholders with the goal of enhancing water-related health and well-being in urban areas.
