The Signing Ceremony for Collaboration Project between Universities, Research Institutions and Companies in Japan and Norwegian

On May 13, 2019, the signing ceremony for the collaboration project of Aluminium alloy Research and Education was held at Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The project members are Faculty of Sustainable Design, Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Research, University of Toyama, Tokyo Institute of Technology, National University Corporation Kyushu University, Norwegian University of Science and Technology(NTNU), SINTEF, Hydro Aluminium, Japan Aluminium Association and Toyama Aluminium Industrial Association. The aim of the project is to promote collaboration of research and education between universities, research institutions and companies. This project is the Phase 2 of the project carried out in 2016-2017 and has been supported by Research Council of Norway.

After a welcome address by Ms. Tone Helene Aarvik, First Secretary, Norwegian Embassy, the short presentation of the project was carried out by the project leader, NTNU. Then, all partners gave short greetings. At the end of the ceremony, representatives of each institution signed on the agreement.
