The Organization for Promotion of Research aims to promote our university’s distinctive research, support research in various fields. We also provide research outcomes to our community and even to the world, thus developing human resources.

Office for Promotion of Academic Research and Collaboration

Promotes the planning and designing of academic research and industry-university collaboration, the obtaining of public and external funding, the supporting of new businesses and human resource development, as well as the management and use of intellectual properties to further enhance the academic research of the university to benefit society as a whole.

Hydrogen Isotope Research Center

Basic studies on intrinsic functions of hydrogen isotopes and the development of their application techniques, hydrogen isotope research in the field of tritium science, hydrogen energy material engineering, and the promotion of joint utilization and / or research in science of hydrogen isotopes with researchers inside and outside the university.

Global Research Centre for Advanced Sustainability Science

GRASS-Global Research Centre for Advanced Sustainability Science-will conduct research on sustainability studies by integrating research in the fields of economics, society and the environment.
We will also promote international academic exchange and contribute to the further development of education and research at the University and to the building of a sustainable society.

Research Center for Idling Brain Science

The Research Center aims to clarify latent abilities of the brain based on scientific background through elucidating functional roles of the idling activity, brain activities in subconscious, in information processing.

Center for Advanced Antibody Drug Development

Through the development of unique technologies for antibody acquisition and the development of useful antibodies using such technologies, the Center comprehensively promotes the development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods for various diseases, including infectious diseases.

Center for Advanced Aluminum Materials Research and International Collaboration

Promoting collaborative research with researchers and engineers from Japan and around the world in the field of materials engineering, especially on aluminum, and contributing to local and national industrial development as well as preparing our graduate students for their future career.

This office aims to develop the research infrastructures by strengthening management system for joint use of facilities and regional alliances. Promotion of the assisting our research as well as collaborative research within the community and industrial organizations is also to be achieved through development of human resources with excellent equipment operation skills.
