Gofuku International House was set up under the purpose of offering International Students and Researchers secured place to reside; such would extend to the contribution toward their study, research, and international exchange.
Resident Requirements
- International Students enrolled at University of Toyama, their spouse, and children (exclude Students enrolled Sugitani Campus.)
- International Researchers engaged the study at University of Toyama, their spouse, and children (exclude Researchers enrolled Sugitani Campus.)
- The person, whom Director approved.
Eligible persons

Humanities, Education, Economics, Science, Engineering, Sustainable Design - Graduate School:
Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, Pharma-Medical Sciences, Sustainability Studies, Innovative Life Science, Science and Engineering for Education

- International Researchers who will research on Gofuku Campus
International students who will belong to the School / Graduate School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences and international researchers who will research on Takaoka Campus can apply for either Intenational House.
Period of Residence
Residents chosen have a privilege to stay from 1 month to 12 months as a principle.
However, if the Director acknowledges the unavoidable reason, the period of residence would be extended for the longest of 12 months.
Application to Reside
If you wish to reside at International House, please submit the application form. You can get the form at International Affairs Division (Gofuku Campus). Period for moving in is in April (1), and in October (2). As many people apply the residency, residents are usually selected by committee.

Laundry, Multi Purpose Room
Multi Purpose Room is ideal for the meeting or social gathering. (At least one of the user needs to be a resident at International House and only resident could apply the permission to use. You could get application form at International Affairs Division.)
Office Hour
A janitor looks after the property and his/her business hour is 8am-11am, 3pm-6pm weekday.
